Built a travel app with an AI assistant from scratch as a side project.
Context
Wander is a side project I built with a friend to explore how AI can make travel planning more social and personal. The app lets users discover trips, share public updates, see where friends are heading, and ask an AI travel assistant about their plans.
What I built
I built the full product end-to-end: a discovery feed with curated destination cards and itineraries, a social layer for public trip updates and friend-based recommendations, and an AI travel assistant that answers natural questions like 'What are my friends planning?'. The stack is mobile-first, deployed on Vercel, and designed for quick iteration.
Outcome
A working travel app shipped and live, with AI features, social discovery, and a clean mobile experience — built outside client work and kept improving.
